To say I was impressed by Nashville would be an egregious understatement. When I descended upon Broadway, I was instantly in love with the vibe. The energy generated by the hundreds of tourists from all ages, stages, and wages was palpable – I was hooked.
And that’s when I first saw the Pedal Pub.
16 people having the time of their life; laughing, fist-pumping, and belting out their favourite jams while pedaling together down the lively corridor. And then I saw another. And another.
Birthday parties. Wedding parties. Corporate parties. Retirement parties.
I had to participate – I had to get on it. But couldn’t. They were booked. And I don’t mean a scheduling conflict with my dinner reservation. I mean, I would have to extend my trip by at least three weeks if I wanted a hope of getting on this pedal powered patio on wheels.
That clinched the now annual trip to Nashville with my wife and our friends. Rest assured we got on it the next year and experienced it firsthand. Canada needed this thing. And I had to be part of it.
Fast forward a year and we have exclusive Pedal Pub ownership across Western Canada.
